Description:  Malachite is mostly found in Africa.  Fine malachite is known for it's brilliant green color with deeper green patterns that remind me of the chocolate swirls you might see in a marble cake.  The stone is soft, somewhere between 3 and 4 on Moh's hardenss scale and gets it's rich deep color from growing near copper.  Our malachite extremely fine quality, with intense color and good patterns. Care should be taken not to expose the stone to harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures.  Each piece is unique in pattern and color.
