Rhodochrosite Earrings

Rhodochrosite is a dynamic stone that ranges from semi translucent cherry rose to soft pink and even into the browns. Characterized by bands of wavy gray or dark brown patterns, the stone tells its own unique story of the earth. It has an upbeat cheerfulness that is sort of like wearing a chunk of love around your neck. This heart chakra stone is found in quite a number of places in the world including Colorado (it's the state stone), New Jersey, Arizona, California, Argentina, Peru, Germany, Kazakhstan and even Transylvania, proving that love abounds. This particular rhodochrosite is a lighter opaque pink with really nice dark brown markings. I generally prefer the brighter shades of rosey pinks, but when I saw these pieces, I simply had to have them. There are only a handful of these stones and I have not seen anything like it since I purchased them. If you love it, don't wait. You've been warned and they're going fast.
