Blue lace agate and chalcedony are the same stone, with one important disctintion.  What gives blue lace agate its name are the delicate white lines that run through it.  The patterns look something like the concentric rings of a tree trunk, except they are more fluid and wavy.  In some cases, our blue lace agates contain some drusy material, which appears like tiny sugar crystals.  Soft, cool, pale or powder blue hues make this a wonderful stone for the throat chakra.
